Introduction
Challenge and Requirement
Challenge
The Daily Health Conference want to offer more value to its members so they decided to focus on:
Create a mobile App for their members;
Update their image, to create a more innovative approach to wellness.
Requirement
Understanding that the app can cover any aspect of wellness we still have some requirement to follow:
The App need to have a profile page, including important information relevant to the users goals;
Users need to be able to set their goals and track their progress;
Users need to be able to edit, share and delete their personal data;
Users need to receive feedback from the system.
The App
Having a large number of choices we decided to focus on an App dedicated to fitness programs where the user will be able to get a personalized training program based on their goals and needs, users will also be able to track their progress during the fitness journey.

Secondary Research
Some research at the beginning of this project allowed us to understand something about the typical user of fitness app:
The user age: 25-35;
Female users dominate the fitness app market;
Only a small percentage of people keep using the app after only one month from the download.

Interview
After collecting quantitative data we then conduct 5 interviews with possible users. Here we collected qualitative data.
In this part of the project we were able to understand the user much better so their insight that we got were very useful.
Interview quotes:
“I easily lose my motivation when I don’t set a specific goal”;
“Often the exercise explanation is a short video or a 3D animation but not all the time is understandable”;
“I understand that share my personal information it’s useful to develop a precise program based on my needs”;
“I prefer to see the mind behind the App, if they are professional and if I can trust them”;
“I love to track my progress so I can check the difference during the weeks”

Problem Statement/MVP Statement
“Young people with a busy life that don’t find much time to workout and follow a healthy life NEED TO FIND A WAY TO stick to a fitness program and follow a healthy routine BECAUSE they have the necessity to to focus on their own health”
Finally we write down a few problem statements that help us identify where our focus will be directed:
Problem Statement
“The Goal of the DHC App, at the bear minimum, is to provide a personalized workout routine based on the User needs”

Here we improved the questionnaire splitting it into multiple screens, also we added a screen where the User is able to select and see the preview, present or next workout.
Also now the user can contact support at any time when open the App and not only during the workout.
Usability Testing
This is obviously follow by another user testing, here, as usual, we are able to collect information from the user so we are able to improve the screen later:
“It will be good to have the possibility to select a category such as Other in the gender”;
“The error message doesn’t make sense”;
“I want to be able to select if the App is connected to my Phone information or smartwatch”;
“The icons are a bit confusing”;
“I would like to see a written description of the exercise”;
“I would like to see a calendar with the overview of my month's workout”.

Even with final positive comments we know that there is still some work to do. In fact we want improve different features in the app, including also:
The opportunity to connect with a diet program;
Create a community of people that use the same app to keep competition and motivation at high level;
Also we are thinking of giving the possibility to the user to train with a specific program for any competition of choice such as Marathons.
